A Flight of Fiery Arrows

For I will stir up and bring against Babylon an alliance of great nations from the land of the north. They will take up their positions against her, and from the north she will be captured. Their arrows will be like skilled warriors who do not return empty-handed.
Jeremiah 50

Son of man, prophesy against Gog and say: ―This is what the Sovereign LORD says: I am against you, O Gog, chief prince of Meshech and Tubal. I will turn you around and drag you along. I will bring you from the far north and send you against the mountains of Israel. Then I will strike your bow from your left hand and make your arrows drop from your right hand.
Ezekiel 39

You uncovered your bow, you called for many arrows… Sun and moon stood still in the heavens at the glint of your flying arrows, at the lightning of your flashing spear.
Habakkuk 3

This is about a true bodily alignment beneath the Head Himself.

He is the plumb line of righteousness and the measuring line of justice (Isaiah 28). Psalm 118 and Zechariah 4 are just as important. The capstone is preceded by a complete leveling and refooting under the governing witness of Zerubbabel, the diligent teams of Ezra and Nehemiah, and the revelations of Haggai and Zechariah. Who despises the day of small revolutionaries amidst such catalytic moments.

We remember a plumb line which reached down and touched the earth for a moment… that one moment was and is like the end of time, where all of humanity and their history funnel back up through the cross into the eternal remembering of God. The righteousness of God upon the cross of Jesus Christ is the plumb line of the eternal which came down from above and has never been polluted and formed into manifest destiny or supreme Utopian agenda here below.

Eternity has been placed delicately into the hearts of humanity. But, God is Other. God is up there. God is righteous. God is embodied in Jesus Christ. God is enthroned in heaven. And everyone and everything in heaven, on earth and under the earth is either in or out of line with God in the midst of God’s own creation, sacrifice, resurrection and bodily reconciliation of all things to Himself – as He is completely authentically Himself upon His throne and within His universal body - the Church.

The outworking of the measuring line of justice goes out into all creation covered and protected under the supernova proclamation of this once plumbed and now enthroned Lamb of God who is personally straightening the misaligned from above - making all things new here below.

Once the righteousness of God established that plumb line, who could ever measure the outgoing supernova of the full flowing justice of the One who had touched down - straight as an Arrow - to dig that deep well (Isa. 12:3, John 4:14) showing us the straight and narrow way back up and into the heart of our Father in heaven!?

The spear piercing Jesus’ heart deepens the flow even more: God's blood pouring through more gaps over the hourglass of history: We are born down and out of water and blood to come up and into the heart of the Father through the blood and water of the Son who is going back down and out into His world in the kinetic hydraulic flow of His Spirit celebrating amidst a fountain of drinkable cleansing waters, adopting every tiny grain of sand into heaven’s family and inviting every individual back up and into the feast.

Circular and telescopic synergy. Arrows and plumb lines are straight!

Orthodoxy literally means ―straight glory. Without the straight glory of God revealed to us in the face of Christ there is no hope for kingdom alignment… and no outworking of justice locally or globally. Without straight strong tracks before and a fire in the belly within, the mercy train will never leave the station. Without Zechariah’s promise of the glory of God in Jerusalem, Nehemiah’s city would have been an empty form without substance.

As this substantial movement continues in the present undercurrents, the topography of the river is changing and straightening. As the hydraulic flow intensifies, the meandering river becomes a torrent flow. Earth has no choice but to move into alignment with the water.

When the underground becomes the ground, there is nothing stable left to stand on! It’s time for many to stand before the people again… knowing full well that those positions are mirages of things long swept away by a God who has never needed a microphone to be heard or a camera to be seen or a crowd to convince…

It’s also time to be free from all debts. To build up an armory AND a treasury. It’s not enough to tell them to go under this and that banner. It’s time to become more responsible for them. To send medics into battle equipped with everything they need. To pay the student debts of faithful ones called to go and to pave the future for the poorest ones to receive a world-class education.

Jacob, Joseph, Jubilee, Gideon, and David had seven year cycles.

Regarding the fall of Gog in Ezekiel 39:9-10, "Then those who live in the towns of Israel will go out and use the weapons [of Gog] for fuel and burn them up—the small and large shields, the bows and arrows, the war clubs and spears. For seven years they will use them for fuel. They will not need to gather wood from the fields or cut it from the forests, because they will use the weapons for fuel. And they will plunder those who plundered them and loot those who looted them, declares the Sovereign LORD."

It's time to purchase property, put it in the name and hands of young nationals, get along side them as they build beautiful abbeys of prayer, managed by strong local and global teams: amidst refugee camps, orphanages, trade-schools, farms, banks, and the much needed infrastructure of sewage treatment, clean water, and adequate power!?

The World Bank’s 2007 Prospectus was about the youth of the nations. The average age of many developing nations is under 20 years old... and they are humble and needy and willing. It’s about your treasure being where your heart is. We must stop banging our heads against the empty promises of men. Align yourself with those who will keep you from being drawn off course by mammon.

You must be willing to have absolutely nothing before becoming faithful with everything about to be placed into your hands (II Cor. 6:10).
