My favorite picture from our trip.

We inconspicuous Canadians...

Our friends Christine and Marv Franz sponsor Carlos. Since Dar and I were there we met up with him and his mom (on Marv and Chris' behalf) and loaded him up with gifts.

Dar promised this girl Kimberly that she would find a sponsor for her. Dar got home and called her sister Kim to sponsor Kimberly :)

Dar and Yossary, Bill and Nancy's sponsor child.

We met hundreds of wonderful kids. Compassion has 13 full time staff in Honduras partnering with 122 churches responsible for 23 000 children!

So many stories to tell about all the children we met along our journey. Not long after this picture the Holy Spirit showed up in power amidst a circle of teens.

Dar's zip-line through the rain forest. 14 stations top to bottom... A lot of zipping!

She made it out of the jungle alive!

After a downpour in the jungle Dar and I were checking out some big birds in cages when this spider monkey came down out of the canopy, climbed up my arm and started going through my backpack - and then he rubbed himself into my wet hair like it was catnip! Wasn't sure if I was meant to take it as a compliment... but a Honduran was laughing the whole time :)

Soaking up the Sun on Roatan. Dar was lovin' on these two cuties...

Totally awesome :-)
Lovely Lois... At first I thought it was my sister-in-law posting a comment. Her name is Lois as well. Her husband, my brother Andy works for Compassion...
Such an encouraging post..Amazing! All I can think of are three words "Ready, set, GO!"..
I'm ready..waiting..and listening.
